Favorite Slow Cooker Recipes
Fall is finally here and the weather is cooling off! It’s my favorite time for slow cooker recipes! I love being able to come home from work to a dinner that’s ready to enjoy and dishes that are (mostly) done. There are my five favorite!
Chicken Fajitas– This is an amazing recipe! You can literally touch the chicken with a fork and it will fall apart! This is great for a large family or if you want to eat it throughout the week. I will make different meals using this. I have topped a salad with this, made a burrito bowl, or enjoyed tacos. I never add the honey or lime.
Chili– Who doesn’t love a bowl of chili on a cold, damp day. I skip the sugar and instead of the tomato juice I add an extra can of tomato sauce. I will top with a little avocado and pair it with a salad.
White Chicken Chili– I like to make this chili more hearty by adding extra chicken and an extra can of beans. I pair it with a salad and it’s delicious.
Beef Stew– This is a rich and delicious stew. I will also pair this one with a salad!
Pork Carnitas– This makes a lot of meat! It is another one that shreds easily. It if doesn’t shred easily, it probably needs to be cooked a little longer. It is great to eat off of for multiple meals. I will eat the pork plan, put it on a salad made with romaine lettuce, or make a burrito bowl.
