2017 Forward Fitness Winter Games

The Games are back! We had such an awesome turn out for our summer games we decided to make it a semi-annual event. Not only is it a chance to be part of a team and compete, but it is a time to see how much stronger and quicker you have become. So many people surprised themselves and us with how strong they were in the summer games. The one event that stumped the most people was the chin up. You can probably tell from the amount of chin ups in FIT Camps that we have been working to change that.
If you are new to Forward Fitness or just forgot, here’s how it works.
We have three teams: Apple, Kettlebell, and Maplewood. Each member will be placed on a team. There is a women’s, men’s, senior women’s, and senior men’s division. The senior division starts at age 50. You can participate in as many events as you would like. Every two days we will have a new event. If you are out of town or can’t make it in, but want to compete you can try it before it is over. The date of the events are listed below.
December 1st-2nd: Iron cross
December 3rd-4th: Wall sit
December 5th-6th: Burpees
December 7th-8th: Carry (Prowler)
December 9th-10th: Bench press
December 11th-12th: Deadlift
December 13th-14th: Turkish Get Up
December 15th-16th: Chin Up
Tug of war- December 16th at noon (10 people (5 males and 5 females) from each team
Points earned are as follows:
1st place: 5 points
2nd place: 3 points
3rd place: 2 points
Attempt: 1 point
Points are doubled for the tug of war!
